Where it all began
Body Shape & Beauty started from a simple yet powerful belief: Everyone deserves to feel good about themselves. Not because we have to be perfect and meet a certain beauty ideal.
But because every person is worth looking in the mirror with confidence.
Founder Jenine has seen over the years how many people struggle with their self-image. People who feel insecure about their bodies. People who constantly compare themselves to others. People who are so busy caring for everyone around them that they forget themselves.
That’s why Body Shape & Beauty was born. Not as an ordinary gym or a traditional beauty salon. But as a place where you can be yourself and everyone is accepted for who they are. Where health, movement, skin improvement, relaxation, and personal growth come together. A place where people can work on themselves without judgment in a small-scale, accessible, luxurious, and pleasant environment. Where results are important, but self-confidence, health, and well-being always come first. We believe that real change comes from self-love. You are worth it and good enough!
From that vision, Body Shape & Beauty grew into a trusted name in the Netherlands, Zeeland, with locations where people work daily on a healthier, stronger, and happier version of themselves full of self-confidence. What sets us apart is that we understand that everyone is different. Some customers want guidance and a friendly chat, while others prefer to work independently towards their goals, enjoying tunes with earbuds in. With us, it’s all possible with a flexible concept that combines personal attention with freedom and convenience.
Our locations are accessible 365 days a year. Customers can independently use our facilities whenever it suits them, while guidance is available during block hours when needed. This way, we adapt to our customers’ schedules instead of them having to adjust to ours.
With Body Shape & Beauty Franchise, we are building on this mission.
What once began as Jenine’s dream in Zeeland is now evolving into an international concept. Together with her brother Frankwin and sister-in-law Heather, we have established this franchise model and entrepreneurial platform, and we are working on the first American location of Body Shape & Beauty in Boise, Idaho.
Body Shape & Beauty Franchise is an entrepreneurial platform with all conceivable software from planning to nutrition coaching and from accounting programs and staff planning to our University, allowing future entrepreneurs and partners access to the knowledge, systems, and guidance that have made the model successful. Our ambition is bigger than just opening salons. We want to create opportunities for entrepreneurs and jobs and contribute to a healthier society. A society where people accept themselves, receive opportunities, take better care of themselves, and understand that health, self-confidence, and happiness go hand in hand. Because in the end, it’s not about perfection. It’s about recognizing the value of exercising, recovering well, and eating healthily. Taking care of yourself to ultimately age vital and strong. Because let's face it, who doesn't want to grow old healthy and vital?
